Zedge is a mobile community that offers a lot of free stuff for your mobile. First you need to register at the site to download its content, don’t worry coz registration is fast and free. There are two ways you can download the free content, it’s either on your PC or direct to your mobile phone.

You can get mobile wallpapers, picture messages, ringtones, message tones, 3GP videos, themes, mobile games, and apps for your phone model. The site has a clean and simple design, which I really like. You can sort each category to most popular, highest rated, or even newest. Registered users can also contribute to the site by uploading files to share to the community.

What I like about this site is they have categories for various cell phone brands and models. The site loads fast, and I can easily browse through numerous pages quickly. Most ring/msg tones are in WAV or MP3 format so the mobile phone you are using must be compatible with those formats. The games are also categorized on various phone models they run on, but since my mobile phone supports almost all java games intended for other models and brands, I don’t know if they are properly categorized.

One other neat feature about the site is its social environment. You have your own profile page after you register, add friends, post in their guestbook, and basically has the basic features of a social networking site. I see a lot of Filipino’s online whenever I visit the site, maybe because I filter it to show only the ones within my country. In your profile you can add your mobile phone model and you can also see what mobile phones other members are using.
