Watch your house from anywhere using Rovio

Posted on the January 14th, 2008 under Robotics by Ryman

Rovio is a bot that roams through your house and taking videos of each location it goes to. This is a convenient way to monitor your house even if you are miles away from it. You can get one by fall this year for $299 at www.wowwee.com

The Rovio would be cool enough knowing that it has NorthStar navigation which allows it to wander throughout your house, avoiding obstacles along the way. The icing on the cake, however, is that is uses a WiFi connection that allows you to view the video feed from anywhere in the world.

Aiko, world’s first sexually harassed Fembot

Posted on the November 20th, 2007 under Robotics by Ryman

Aiko was built by Canadian Trung Le and now the world’s favorite fembot. Trung developed the B.R.A.I.N.S (Bio Robot Artificial Intelligence Neural System) software, controlling Aiko’s speech, reading, math, vision, colors, hearing, automation and sensors.

Apparently this bot doesn’t like being groped at her breasts in which she responds with a slap. More of her talking and interacting in a video at YouTube.
